The Bosch/Siemens Claris Waterfilter purifies tap water from harmful substances such as chlorine, lead, and copper. However, the filter is not able to completely prevent limescale buildup. Therefore, we recommend descaling the appliance at least 2 times a year, always removing the water filter. The filter has a capacity of 50 liters of water, which is equivalent to approximately 400 cups of coffee or 1000 cups of espresso. It is advisable to replace the filter every 2 months. In addition, the filter has an aroma ring that allows the water hardness to be adjusted for perfect coffee quality. The filter has been tested and approved.
