With the Bialetti induction plate of Ø13 cm, it is possible to use the aluminum Moka Express on an electric or induction hob. This is especially useful for people who switch to electric or induction cooking, as many new houses no longer have a gas connection.
The Bialetti induction plate works in the same way as any induction-compatible pan or espresso pot. When the induction plate is placed on the induction hob, it heats up and transfers the heat to the aluminum Moka Express. This allows the non-induction-compatible aluminum Moka Express to be used on an induction hob.
