Europe's 1st Coffee Marketplace
Bialetti coffee cup with saucer and spoon with black Bialetti print.
The success story of this Italian company began in 1919, when Alfonso Bialetti opened a workshop in Crusinallo for the production of semi-finished aluminum products. These semi-finished products were then finished and immediately brought to market.
In 1933, Alfonso Bialetti had a brilliant idea: he developed a coffee maker that could be used to make coffee at home. This resulted in the Moka Express, a coffee maker with an Art Deco design. This allowed the company to quickly become one of the leading Italian manufacturers of coffee makers. The brand was further strengthened by significant investments in advertising, focused on the image of the 'Little Man with a Mustache', still the symbol of the Bialetti Industry group.
