How to make the best espresso
A good basic recipe for this coffee is a ratio of 1:2.
This means that you use 2 times as much liquid as the weight of your ground coffee.
In our professional espresso machine, approximately 20 grams of finely ground coffee fits in the filter basket. Here we make about 40 grams of espresso in 25 to 30 seconds. Yes, we use scales for this, it makes life easier.
Dark roasted
We roast this coffee in our Giesen W6 coffee roaster to approximately 220 degrees Celsius, until the second crack almost begins. This creates a very full and powerful flavor.
