A tour around Café del Mar (Mocca d’Or)
Welcome to the enchanting world of Mocca d’Or, where coffee is not just a beverage; it's a work of art.
Our adventure began with an exceptionally warm welcome (of course, accompanied by a fresh cup of espresso from the Mocca d'Or bar) by Ronan Lütter from Café del Mar and Johan Kuijkhoven, a coffee guru who has seen so much coffee that he could probably identify coffee-beans with his eyes closed.
Our visit started in the showroom, a place that makes you feel like you've stepped into the living room of the coffee gods. Here, not only Café del Mar shines but also other gems like Earth, Santas, Yes Please, and Fazenda. Surrounded by a series of beautiful coffee-machines, such as the impressive Appia. A machine that doesn't just brew coffee; it crafts a masterpiece.
Taking it slow
And then, a glimpse into the kitchen of Mocca d’Or – the heart of coffee creativity. Here, the coffees are crafted by the crème de la crème of coffee specialists from the Netherlands. Passing through the stockroom (enormous silos of beans from around the world) we've reached the roastery. The precision with which every kilogram of beans receives a loving treatment was very impressive. Truly, a slow-roast celebration. And then the packaging, it's clear that coffee isn't just thrown into bags here. Every kilo of beans is packaged as if it were a gift.
Fair & Square
Café del Mar is (we think) the gem in this coffee oasis. It shines.. not just because of its quality but also because of its heart for humanity and nature. With donations to Stichting Solidaridad and the Rainforest Alliance certification, every sip of Café del Mar is a sip with a purpose.
A little piece of coffee happiness
Of course, Café del Mar is available on Fête du Café. Not just coffee; it's an attention grabber, a seducer with perfect coffee, beautiful packaging, and a price that's friendly to your wallet. With five different blends, roasted from beans in South America, Café del Mar is a delightful piece of coffee happiness.
A visit to Mocca d’Or is like stepping into a coffee dream.
