Passion for coffee beans and musical notes. In the ancient Drenthe village of Vries, you'll find the small-scale coffee roastery Laurens Coffee and the music store Audio Artistiek. For over 15 years, I, Edwin Laurens, have been offering a cup of coffee to everyone who comes to listen to music (at Audio Artistiek in Vries). The idea of starting my own coffee roastery had been lingering for a while. Once I got my Barista diploma and had visited various other roasteries, my enthusiasm grew even more. In 2021, it finally happened, and Laurens Coffee became a reality. In the surrounding area, Audio Artistiek is a known destination for music lovers. I aim to achieve the same recognition with Laurens Coffee in the realm of fair, sustainable, and fresh coffee.
